Professor Michelin Villalobos is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, a Modern Army Combatives Instructor, and Combatives Green Belt. He is a dedicated instructor at Renzo Gracie Clarksville. Originally from Puerto Rico and raised in Orlando, FL, Michelin began his journey in BJJ in 2016 while stationed at Fort Stewart, GA. After relocating to Fort Campbell, KY in 2017, he continued his training at what is now Renzo Gracie Clarksville.
Michelin’s background in law enforcement and military service shapes his approach to training. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2011 as an Infantryman, serving eight years on active duty before transitioning into the Army National Guard and law enforcement. For over four years, he has served as a police officer in Clarksville, TN, bringing his expertise in defensive tactics to both fellow officers and students.
As one of the instructors for Combatives for Cops, Michelin is passionate about teaching real-world applications of Jiu-Jitsu for self-defense and law enforcement scenarios. With over ten years of training experience, he is committed to helping students build skill, confidence, and resilience on and off the mats.
